Ironhead IFL200-FS
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- All weather traction
- Fuel efficient performance
- Longer lasting usability
OVERVIEW
The Ironhead IFL200-FS is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for the vehicle's steer axle.
The tire guarantees a safer all weather traction. The stronger all season compound and the symmetric ribbed tread design improve the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road surface. This combination enhances the year round grip on the road surface. In other words, the ribbed pattern and the rib edge sipes generate additional biting edges which firmly grip the road surface at all times. The all season compound optimizes the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, enhancing the versatile weather performing safety. The wider, circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, resulting in a secure wet weather performance.
The maintained surface contact of the symmetric ribbed tread design and the strengthened year round traction effectively ease the driving pressure off the tire. In this manner, the tire effectively reduces the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire, which determines the vehicle's needed fuel intake levels. Lowering the rolling resistance enables the tire to greatly decrease the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels, resulting in a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience.
The IFL200-FS improves the tread life length. The symmetric ribbed tread design enhances the surface contact while the tires are in motion. This allows the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area. The equally circulated forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoid irregular wear formations across the tread area. The stronger compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, greatly reducing the tread wear rate. As a result, the tire promotes a longer lasting service life.
