OVERVIEW
The Hankook Smart Flex DL12 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.
The tire offers excellent all weather traction. The symmetric tread design and the all season tire compound increase the grip the tire has on the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather. The tread design features a special 3D siping detail, an open shoulder design and a four-channel tread pattern that work together to keep the grip on the tire's road surface with additional biting edges. The tire compound manages to maintain the rubber flexibility in different weather, including in colder temperatures, and it avoids weather damage from harming the tire. The four channel grooves avoid hydroplaning as they disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint. This combination guarantees a secure all weather performance.
The model's maintained constant road contact upgrades its controllability. The combined rib and block pattern of the tread design closely follows the road surface throughout the tire's performance, which significantly improves the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. This enhances the tire's steering response time and accuracy to the steering axle's instructions, while it stabilizes the structure against the driving pressure affecting the model. The better controllability enables the tire to perform in a safe and precise manner.
