OVERVIEW
The Goodyear Eagle LS2 ROF is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. It has some high performance sizes too.
This tire is a run flat model, which means that its sidewalls are reinforced to withstand and carry the vehicle's weight temporarily in case of air pressure loss. It can be driven on after a puncture for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph. This prevents the driver from being stranded on the side of the road and allows them to safely arrive at a destination where they can fix or change the tire. These tires cannot be mixed with regular tires, as run flat tires are heavier due to their construction.
This model has excellent all weather traction and, thanks to its special tread design and tire compound, it grips the road remarkably well in dry, wet and winter weather. The better road gripping ability means that the tire is capable of handling all weather conditions with ease and safety. The tread design also prevents dangerous hydroplaning situations and increases the wet weather traction by eliminating water and slush from below the tire footprint.
