OVERVIEW

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The tire was manufactured with a special tread blend. It contains carbon black that boosts the dry weather traction, silica that increases the wet weather performance and polymer that enhances the tread stiffness. The combination of these three allow the tire to perform excellently at high speeds in dry and wet conditions. The summer weather traction is further upgraded with the asymmetric tread design and the hydroplaning resistance of the wide circumferential grooves. While the tire has first-rate summer weather traction, it will not perform well in winter weather as the tread will not maintain its flexibility.

The special polymer-enhanced tire compound ensures the tread's optimal stiffness, which is needed to increase the model's controllability. The steering responsiveness and driving stability are enhanced in this manner. The steering becomes swift and precise in its response to the driver's instructions and the tire's shape is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The tread block design of the outer shoulder and the active CornerGrip technology boost the cornering ability and power. The tread blocks promote additional biting edges, while the CornerGrip technology maintains even tread pressure to ensure a safer maneuvering ability.

The Eagle F1 Asymmetric guarantees a safer high speed performance. The internal structure features twin steel belts reinforced with a three-layer spiral wrapped polyamide cord that enhances the tread stability and the high speed durability. The tire does not deform under the driving pressure which allows it to perform to its highest capability. The tire's sidewall was manufactured in a way that it protects the rims from accidently curb manages, further upgrading the high speed driving safety.
