OVERVIEW

The Firestone T819 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on all axle positions.

The special tread design and the durable tire compound work together to increase the all weather traction. The aggressive tread's notched shoulder pattern and the groove walls' multiple biting edges increase the grip the tire has on the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather. The durable compound keeps the rubber flexibility in different temperatures, including winter weather. The zigzag circumferential grooves help prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the footprint and upgrade the wet and winter weather performance.

The tire promotes a longer lasting tread life. It utilizes its optimal tread design and the stronger tire compound to extend the tire's usability. The tread pattern's solid shoulder rib keeps the tire's road contact at all times and stabilizes the tread elements. As this tread element prevents tread flexing, the model is able to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the entire tread area. The T819's reinforced internal structure features four strengthened steel belts that improve the model's durability.
