OVERVIEW
The Firestone FS400 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle in all axle positions.
The tire offers excellent all weather traction. The symmetric ribbed tread pattern increases the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping capability with the optimal siping detail and multiple biting edges. In this manner, the tire is capable of maintaining its grip on the road surface throughout the year. The wide circumferential grooves help prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint, enhancing the wet and winter weather driving safety.
The model promotes a lengthened usability. The symmetric tread's solid shoulder ribs and the durable wear-resistant tire compound help prevent premature tread wear. The symmetric ribbed pattern's constant road contact manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively avoid the formation of irregular wear across the tread area. The special stone ejecting platforms in the tread grooves avoid stone retention.
