OVERVIEW
The Falken Wildpeak H/T 01 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. This model also has some touring, passenger vehicles sizes. Falken offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
Falken offers a road hazard warranty with this tire. Road hazard damage is harm caused to the tire during its performance. It can occur in the form of punctures, bruises, or impact breaks when the tire is driven in normal driving conditions on a federal, state, and/or locally maintained road. Falken's road hazard covers the first 3/32nds of the tire's tread life or 2 years from the date of purchase (whichever comes first). The road hazard warranty is honored if the damage is unrepairable per the USTMA puncture repair guidelines. Additional restrictions and fees may apply.
The tire offers excellent all weather traction with the symmetric tread pattern. The tread pattern features multi-wave lateral sipes and wide circumferential grooves that boost the road gripping ability. The siping detail grips the road surface firmly in dry, wet and especially in winter weather. They were designed to be able to grip onto any ice- and snow-covered road surfaces. The circumferential grooves actively prevent hydroplaning situations by eliminating water from below the tire footprint, making the drive safer.
The special five-rib symmetric tread pattern promotes an extended tread life. The symmetric tread equally spreads the driving pressure out across the tread area. This even distribution of the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking prevents even wear along the tread surface and it slows down the tread wear rate. This combination ensures an increased tread life and tire usability, making the tire more cost-efficient.
The same tread design guarantees first-rate exceptional handling. The larger road contact patch boosts the steering responsiveness and precision and the driving stability. The tire becomes quick and accurate in its steering response and it is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. This allows it to provide good road feedback to the driver, who in turn can confidently control the vehicle in all conditions.
The Wildpeak H/T 01 offers a comfortable and quiet driving experience. The special variable pitch tread pattern lowers the road noise heard while the tires are in motion. This is made possible as the variable pitch design cancels out the road noise generated with a sound frequency that negates the soundwaves. The internal structure's stiff steel belts and high tension casing ply work together to reduce the road vibrations felt in the vehicle's cabin, making the drive more enjoyable.
