The Dunlop Sport Maxx Race is a high performance summer tire manufactured for racing vehicles.

The tire promotes great summer weather traction. The asymmetric tread design and the high grip racing compound work together to boost the dry and wet weather traction. The asymmetric tread increases the dry weather performance. The tread design's four main grooves enhance the wet weather traction. While the tire has good wet weather traction, caution is recommended while driving in deeper water as the tire's manufacturing is focused on dry weather performance on the racetrack and it does not resist hydroplaning as well. The summer weather traction earned the tire its D.O.T. certification.

The tread pattern and high grip racing compound ensure a safer driving experience. The high angle ribs and the massive outer tread blocks increase the tire's cornering ability and power. The model's maneuvering is boosted with the additional biting edges the tread elements provide that firmly grip the road surface even in high speed performance. The high grip racing compound increases the braking capability. The better road grip it provides manages to shorten the braking distance on dry and wet road surfaces. The enhanced cornering and braking allow the driver to confidently control the vehicle.

The Sport Maxx Race guarantees a safer high speed performance and effortless handling. The tire's structure features hybrid aramid overlay that limits the tire's deformation under the high speed driving pressure. This, along with the maintained road contact of the continuous center rib, improves the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The high speed durability is ensured with the internal structure's twin steel belts that are reinforced with Dunlop's Jointless Band technology.
