The Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D is a performance and high performance, winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tire has excellent winter weather traction thanks to the three different siping details used in its design and the silica-based tire compound. The shoulder 3D sipes and the Active traction sipes enhance the road gripping ability, while the “pulling” sipes located on the center tread area improve the handling. As a result, the tire has received the three mountain peak and snowflake symbol that notes the tire's excellent performing and road gripping ability in severe winter weather. The directional tread pattern prevents hydroplaning situations by eliminating water from below the tire footprint. The better winter weather traction and hydroplaning resistance ensure a safer winter time driving experience.
The model also offers excellent comfort levels. The internal structure's reinforced Jointless Band Technology places a spirally wrapped nylon cord on top of the steel belts to ensure exceptional durability.
