OVERVIEW
The Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT 600 DSST CTT is a high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The strengthened internal structure offers a safe performance. It features a strong internal structure that is able to withstand the weight of the vehicle and its passengers, once air pressure loss occurs. In other words, the tire manages to perform for 50 miles up to 50 mph in case of air pressure loss. This enables the tire’s limited, temporary performance, preventing the vehicle from being stranded on the side of the road. Run flat tires should not be mounted on the same vehicle as regular tires, due to their heavier construction.
The ideal tread design and the summer compound offer great summer-weather traction. The summer, heat-resistant compound works together with the optimized tread elements, in order to boost dry and wet grip. Stronger compound elements increase the tire’s exceptional performance by preventing heat build-up. The road contact provides a great grip, thanks to the versatile tread elements. Circumferential grooves disperse water from the footprint, preventing hydroplaning as well. This further boosts the model’s summer performance.
Great handling is guaranteed, even at high speeds. The asymmetric footprint optimizes the tire’s road contact, which leads to better steering and driving stability. This combination guarantees the driver better control over the vehicle throughout the drive. Additionally, the shoulder block placement and the ideal sipe and groove pattern increase maneuvering. They result in optimized cornering and shortened braking, offering a safer high speed performance.
The Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT 600 DSST CTT ensures high speed durability. The heat-resistant compound elements work together with the reinforced internal structure to boost its performance. Stronger compound elements prevent heat build-up across the tread area, while the structure does not deform under high speed pressure. As a result, the tire can safely perform during its high speed applications.
