OVERVIEW
The Cosmo Kat Energy is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs.
Cosmo also offers a road hazard warranty with this tire. Road hazard damage is harm caused to the tire during its performance. It can occur in the form of punctures, bruises, or impact breaks when the tire is driven in normal driving conditions on a federal, state, and/or locally maintained road. Cosmo's road hazard covers the first 25% of the tire's tread life or 1 year from the date of purchase (whichever comes first). The road hazard warranty covers passenger vehicle and SUV sizes and it does not include sizes of the 40 series and below and 21-inch diameters and above. In order to qualify for the road hazard, the tires must be registered with Cosmo within 45 days after the purchase.
The model offers excellent all season traction. It combines a year-round compound with the stable ribbed block placement along the tread area, enhancing dry, wet, and winter performance. Stronger compound elements keep the rubber flexible in summer and winter conditions. The sipe and groove pattern provide additional biting edges, enabling it to optimize the forward motion. Circumferential grooves channel water and slush from the footprint in wet conditions, effectively resisting hydroplaning.
The Cosmo Kat Energy also enhances its controllability. The stable ribbed block placement ensures constant surface contact, upgrading steering responsiveness and driving stability. This promotes better handling over the vehicle. Additionally, the shoulder block pattern firmly grips the road surface with extra biting edges, optimizing cornering. The sipe and groove placement create friction at the moment of braking, significantly shortening its overall braking power. This combination ensures the driver's control over the vehicle at all times.
