The Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 is a performance and high performance, depending on the speed rating of the specific size, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Cooper offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty when mounted on vehicles requiring the same size tires on both axles and a 23,000 mile treadwear warranty with staggered fitments.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The high silica compound and the asymmetric tread design, with the 3D micro-gauge siping detail, increase the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The silica in the compound maintains the tire's flexibility even in colder temperatures, to ensure constant year round traction. The wide circumferential grooves effectively prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The enhanced all weather traction and excellent hydroplaning resistance guarantee a secure driving experience.
The model is easily controlled. The center rib's constant road contact and the high-stiffness bead filler stabilize the tire's structure against the driving pressure affecting it. The bead filler stiffens the lower sidewall to prevent its deformation during the drive. The maintained road contact also increases the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's instructions. The special siping detail manages to shorten the braking distance. The 3D micro-gauge sipes create friction at the moment of braking, which firmly grips onto the road surface to increase the braking ability. The tire's internal structure features reinforced twin steel belts that do not allow the tire's shape to deform under the high speed driving pressure affecting it. The better controllability and braking ability ensure a safer performance.
The Zeon RS3-G1 features stabilized tread elements that prevent tread flexing. The optimized footprint avoids irregular tread wear formations across the tread area to lengthen the tread life and the tire's usability. The center rib sports Cooper's unique wear square indicators that visually represent the approximate tread life left on the tires. This enables the driver to keep on eye on the tread wear rate and change the tires when they are worn out.
