OVERVIEW
The Cooper Trendsetter SE is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The model has great all weather traction, which is made possible with the dual tire compound and the special squared-off block tread design. It grips the road well in dry, wet and winter weather, as the tread blocks maintain road contact at all times. The tire resists dangerous hydroplaning situations with the wide “See Through” circumferential tread grooves, as they channel water and slush from beneath the footprint. As the tire avoids hydroplaning and has superb all season grips, it is safe to use year round.
The tread pattern is computer optimized. It features different sized tread elements, which creates a variable pitch. The computer optimized variable pitch cancels out road and pattern noise generated while the tire is in motion. The tread pattern creates sound frequencies that cancel out the road noise at the moment of creation. This reduces the noise levels heard in the cabin of the vehicle, offering a comfortable and quiet driving experience.
The dual tread compound features a high-mileage tread cap which is reinforced with the base tread material. This combination results in lowered fuel usage and higher mileage.
