The Continental PureContact LS is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Continental offers a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tire promotes first-rate all season traction. It utilizes its special compound blend and asymmetric tread pattern to boost the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping capability. The polymer and +Silane tire compound maintains its flexibility even in colder temperatures, while the detailed siping design and optimal tread block placement enhance the number of biting edges gripping the road surface throughout the year. The better traction also improves the ice and snow traction and road gripping ability. The tread design's circumferential and angled lateral grooves actively resist hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The upgraded traction and hydroplaning prevention work together to ensure a secure driving experience.

The special compound blend also manages to boost the tire's fuel efficiency. It ensures exceptional year round traction while lowering the tire's overall weight. In this manner, the model's rolling resistance is decreased. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire that determines the amount of energy the vehicle needs to keep the tires in motion.
