OVERVIEW

The Continental ContiProContact ContiSeal is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Continental offers an 80,000 mile treadwear warranty with S and T speed rated sizes, a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with H speed rated sizes of this model.

The tire was manufactured with the ContiSeal Technology. This technology places a sticky coating on the tire's inner lining, which seals punctures immediately. When a puncture occurs and the object causing the damage is removed, this coating seals and permanently fills the hole to prevent air pressure loss. It can seal punctures up to 3/16 inches in diameter. In this manner, the tire does not need to be plugged to be fixed.

The model offers great all weather traction. The combination of the all season compound and the detailed symmetric tread design improves the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread design features numerous sipes that increase the number of biting edges which grip the road surface while the tires are in motion. This high-density siping detail ensures the tire's performing capability throughout the year. The silica-based compound boosts the rubber flexibility and prevents weather damage. The better flexibility ensures the tire's traction from the heat of summer to colder winter temperatures. The tread features wide circumferential grooves that avoid hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint.
