OVERVIEW
The Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport RFT is a performance and high performance, summer tire manufactured for SUVs.
The model is a run flat tire, which has a limited temporary performance after air pressure loss. In such cases, the tire can be driven on for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph as the stronger construction and sidewalls withstand the weight of the vehicle and its passengers. This enables the driver to safely arrive at a location where they can change or fix the damaged tire. These tires are manufactured for vehicles without space for a spare tire. They cannot be used together with non-run flat tires on the same vehicle.
This tire offers excellent summer weather traction, and it grips the road well in wet and dry conditions thanks to the silica-based tread compound. The tire, however, is not suited for use in winter weather or colder temperatures, as the compound loses its traction in those conditions and it can be subjected to weather damage. The circumferential grooves in the tread help eliminate water from below the footprint and enhance the tire's resistance to hydroplaning.
The tire's tread pattern and its flat footprint maintain constant road contact. The continuous contact between the road and the tire improves the steering precision and responsiveness. The tire responds to the commands of the driver quickly and accurately, allowing better control over the tire. The increased controllability and handling of the tire boost its high speed driving safety.
The tire's high speed, on-road safety is further enhanced with the its jointless cap ply structure. The tire does not deform under the driving pressure and has exceptional durability on road. As the tire keeps its shape, even under high speed driving pressure, it is safer and easier to steer. The driving stability of the tire was also upgraded with this internal structure, as it provides a safer driving experience. The tread design's larger shoulder blocks provide additional biting edges while cornering. The extra grip in those conditions improve the cornering ability and power of the tire, enabling faster and safer maneuvering.
The Dueler H/P Sport RFT offers a smooth and quiet drive. The optimized tread pattern reduces the road noise generated while the tires are in transit by channeling the air waves through the footprint.
