Boto BT957
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- All weather traction
- Enhanced controllability
- Longer lasting tread life
OVERVIEW
The Boto BT957 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles, made to be mounted on the drive axles.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The special tread block placement and the all season tire compound work together to boost the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping capability. The compound maintains its flexibility even in colder temperature winter conditions, while the tread design with the optimal siping detail increases the year round driving experience. The tread's circumferential and lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint.
The model's flat footprint closely follows the road surface, which enhances its controllability. The better road contact boosts the steering responsiveness and driving stability while the tires are in motion. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the tire while it is in motion. The enhanced controllability enables the driver to confidently maneuvering the vehicle all year.
The BT957's constant road contact decreases its rolling resistance. This in turn lowers the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, making the tire fuel efficient and environmentally friendly. The reduced rolling resistance, along with the durable wear-resistant tire compound, also manages to slow the tread wear rate down, lengthening the tread life. The optimal road contact and tread design's even pressure distribution prevents the formation of irregular tread wear, extending the tire's usability.
