OVERVIEW
The BFGoodrich g-Force COMP-2 A/S is a high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model comes with a 45,000 mile warranty.
This all season tire offers superb all weather traction and thanks to the UltraGrip Technology and the high-silica levels in the compound the model grips the road exceptionally in dry, wet and even winter conditions. The tire compound is versatile as it maintains the great traction even in the colder temperatures of winter. The agressive V-shaped tread grooves in the directional tread pattern help eliminate water from below the footprint, and this way it actively resist hydroplaning in dangerous situations.
The tire has a longer lasting tread life, making it more cost efficient. The optimized road contact patch of this model and the specially designed tread pattern on its shoulders prevent irregular wear by distributing the driving force equally along the tread area. As the tire cannot wear out unevenly, it is usable for a longer period of time and it extends its life.
The model's solid sidewalls promote a comfortable and smooth driving experience, even at high speeds. The tire does not react to the uneven road surface as harshly and the tread pattern and stiff sidewalls, thanks to the g-Control Technology, absorb the remaining vibrations. Once the vibrations are reduced the drive becomes more comfortable for the passengers.
The tire was manufactured using the ETEC or Equal Tension Containment System, which maintains the tire's shape at high speeds. The tire does not deform under the high speed driving pressure, enhancing its durability and stability. The high speed stability of the tire is also boosted with the Dynamic Suspension System or DSS and the g-Control sidewall inserts strengthen the sidewalls of the tire, increasing the cornering ability and power.
