OVERVIEW

The Amulet AT502 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for the vehicle's trailer axle.

The tire enhances the year round traction. The all season compound and the ribbed tread design improve the dry, wet and winter weather grip. The stronger compound elements manage to optimize the flexibility of the rubber materials in high-heat summer and colder winter situations. The siping placement along the ribbed footprint helps to firmly grip the road surface with the use of extra biting edges. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint in wet conditions, promoting a secure performing ability.

The stronger all weather traction and the tire's shallow tread allow the tire to improve the surface grip, which greatly lowers the pressure affecting it during the drive. As a result, the tire is able to decrease the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire which determines the vehicle's necessary fuel consumption to keep the tires in motion. Lowering the rolling resistance enables the towing vehicle to greatly reduce the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels. This results in a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience.

The AT502 upgrades the length of the usability. The decoupling grooves along the tread area manage to stabilize the footprint while the tires are in motion. The better stability enables the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area, avoiding irregular wear formations. On the other hand, the stronger all season compound and the lowered rolling resistance reduce the treadwear rate. This combination manages to greatly elongate the service life.
