OVERVIEW

The Yokohama TY527 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.

The tread design and all season compound increase the tire's all weather traction. The better traction manages to ease the driving pressure off the tire, which decreases the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the driving pressure affecting the model, which determines the vehicle's needed fuel intake to keep the tires in motion. Lowering the rolling resistance significantly reduces the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, promoting a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience.

The tire's slower and even tread wear rate elongates its usability. The tread design's solid shoulder ribs maintain the road surface contact and enable the model's even pressure distribution along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids irregular wear formations. The lessened rolling resistance and the durable compound also work together to decrease the tread wear rate. They ease the pressure off the tire and utilize the wear-resistant rubber materials to enhance the length of the tread life. This combination ensures a longer lasting service life.

The TY527 boosts the load durability. The reinforced steel belt internal structure improves the load capacity. It strengthens the tire against the load and driving pressure affecting it, preventing its deformation under the pressure. In this manner, the tire is able to enhance its ability to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease, boosting the load durability and the driving safety.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
