OVERVIEW
The Yokohama Geolandar G91 is a touring all season tire manufactured for SUV and passenger vehicles.
This tire provides great all weather traction thanks to the silica based tire compound and the special tread pattern that grips the road well in dry, wet and winter conditions. The tire is marked M+S for its excellent mud and snow traction, allowing it to conquer winter weather conditions as well. The wide circumferential tread grooves help resist hydroplaning by dispersing water and mud from below the tire footprint. This makes the tire safe to use all year round, making it more weather versatile.
The model's performance was improved as well. The tread pattern's shoulder tread blocks give additional road grip and biting edges during cornering. They improve the cornering ability and power, allowing the driver to confidently control the tire. Thanks to the tread design, the model is also easy to handle in all weather. The tire responds quickly and accurately to the driver's commands thanks to the enlarged road contact area.
This model was manufactured with Yokohama's Blue Earth technology, which reduces the rolling resistance with the special silica infused tire compound. The lower rolling resistance results in the reduction of the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of the vehicle. The lessened energy usage and pollution make the tire both environmentally friendly and economical.
The tire is resistant to accidental damages. The dual protection bars prevent damages caused by lateral impact, while also resisting cuts, chipping, cracking, tearing and other types of accidental damage. This allows the tire to be used for a longer period of time, and makes it more cost efficient. The Geolandar G91 also offers a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The tread pattern helps reduce the road noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle and lowers the pattern noise generated while the tire is in motion, offering an enjoyable drive.
