OVERVIEW

The Yokohama BluEarth 109L is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's trailer axle.

The tread design and all season compound increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread upgrades the grip on the road surface in various weather conditions as the detailed pattern enhances the number of biting edges. The all weather compound keeps the tire pliable in different temperatures as it maintains the rubber flexibility throughout the drive. The circumferential groove design increases the hydroplaning resistance. These grooves disperse water and slush from below the footprint, optimizing the surface contact to ensure a safer driving experience.

The tire decreases it's the towing vehicle's fuel intake. This is achieved by lowering the tire's rolling resistance. The optimal tread block pattern and the ideal all weather compound work together to increase the traction during the drive. This eases the driving pressure off the tire and reduces the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure which determines the vehicle's needed fuel intake. By lowering the rolling resistance, the towing vehicle lessens its fuel consumption and CO2 emissions while the tires are in motion.
