The Yokohama 101ZL Spec-2 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made for the vehicle's steer axle. The internal structure's wider belt package and the reinforced bead structure upgrade the load and driving durability, upgrading the load and driving capability. The better traction and the optimal surface contact improve the fuel efficiency, as they lower the rolling resistance which reduces the vehicle's fuel usage. The 101Zl Spec-2 boosts the usability by preventing irregular and premature wear formations with the stronger compound and the optimized footprint.

The all season traction and the optimized tire casing ensure the surface contact at all times.

This eases the pressure off the tire, minimizing the overall rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire which determines the vehicle's fuel intake needed to keep the tires in motion. Lowering the rolling resistance enables the tire to decrease the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels. This results in the vehicle's fuel efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience.

The maintained surface contact greatly improves the length of the usability.

The symmetric ribbed pattern's sipe and rib detail equalize the pressure distribution across the tread area. The equally circulated forces of acceleration, cornering and braking resist irregular wear formations. The stronger compound elements minimize the treadwear rate, greatly lengthening the service life. On the other hand, the stronger compound also manages to avoid the tread's chipping, cracking and tearing, significantly boosting the overall service life.
