OVERVIEW
The Thunderer TL442 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for the vehicle's trailer axle.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The tire combines the all season compound and the symmetric ribbed tread design in order to boost the dry, wet and winter weather performance. In other words, the footprint's rib edge sipes and groove pattern optimize the grip on the road surface in versatile weather situations, by providing additional biting edges. The stronger compound manages to optimize the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, increasing the high-heat summer and colder winter weather traction. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, improving the wet weather driving safety levels.
The flat footprint and the symmetric ribbed tread design enable the tire to upgrade the tire's handling. The close and constant surface contact allows the tire to improve the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the towing vehicle's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. This ensures the towing vehicle's control over the trailer throughout its performance, promoting a secure towing experience throughout the drive.
