Supermax RT-1
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Rugged terrain traction
- Enhanced controllability
- All season traction
- Longer lasting tread life
OVERVIEW
The Supermax RT-1 is a rugged terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.
The tire ensures exceptional rugged terrain traction. The staggered tread elements and the high void ratio work together to improve the soft, loose, and uneven terrain grip. These tread elements ensure forward motion on versatile terrain surface conditions, even when performing on loose dirt or through deep mud. The tread eliminates mud, snow, and rocks stuck between the tread elements. The optimized elements disperse mud and snow, preventing them from blocking the surface contact. Stone retention is also avoided as rocks cannot drill into the casing.
All weather traction is ensured with the tread design and the all season compound. The stronger compound elements optimize the rubber's flexibility in versatile temperatures, increasing the summer and winter weather grip on the road surface. The tread elements, with the sipe placement, greatly upgrade the grip on the driving surface in different weather conditions. The groove pattern helps to prevent hydroplaning during the tire's on-road performance.
The maintained surface contact greatly improves the controllability as well. The tread design closely follows the road surface at all times, increasing the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering is quick and precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The reinforced internal structure keeps the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure. Since the tire does not deform, it is able to significantly upgrade the tire's overall load capacity.
The RT-1 boosts the length of its usability. The stabilized tread elements and the stronger compound work to upgrade the tread life. The tread elements prevent tread flexing with their stability, ensuring even pressure circulation across the tread area. This effectively combats irregular wear. The wear-resistant compound elements allow the tire to improve its service life by decreasing the tread wear rate.
