The Sumitomo HTR Enhance LX2 is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model also has some high performance, W speed-rated sizes. Sumitomo offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with the W speed-rated models, a 75,000 mile treadwear warranty with the H and V speed-rated models, and a 90,000 mile treadwear warranty with the T speed-rated models.

The asymmetric tread design works together with the silica compound to boost the all weather traction. They enhance the tire's grip on the dry, wet, and winter-weather road surfaces. The detailed siping pattern of the asymmetric ribbed pattern enhances the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, with additional biting edges, while the compound's silica elements secure the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures.
