OVERVIEW

The Starmaxx Ultra Sport ST760 is a performance and high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The asymmetric ribbed tread design and summer compound work together in order to increase the tire's consistent traction. They optimize its dry and wet weather performance. Stronger compound elements effectively combat heat build-up across the tread area, while the better road-to-rubber ratio increases the tire's surface traction. Circumferential grooves are designed to prevent hydroplaning since they channel water from the footprint. This boosts the tire's wet weather performance.

This is a run flat model. That means the tire's structure is able to securely withstand the weight of the vehicle and its passengers in case of air pressure loss. When air pressure leaves the tire, due to a puncture or some other damage, it can still be driven on for 50 miles up to 50 mph. As a result, a limited, temporary performance is guaranteed, as the vehicle will not be stranded with a flat tire. Run flat tires should not be mounted on the same vehicle as regular tires since they have heavier constructions.
