OVERVIEW

The Sailun S696 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's steer axle.

The tire guarantees a secure all weather traction. The symmetric ribbed tread pattern with the siping detail upgrades the tire's dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The constant road surface contact and the additional biting edges manage to improve tire's year round driving safety. The tire compound manages to keep the tire pliable in various temperatures, from the heat of summer to colder winter conditions. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint. The enhanced traction and hydroplaning resistance improve the all weather performing capability.

The tread design also helps increase the length of the tread life. The tread pattern's closed shoulder ribs keep the tire's close road contact at all times, enabling the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally circulated forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively avoid irregular tread wear formations across the tire's surface. Furthermore the durable tire compound's wear-resistant rubber materials significantly decrease the tread wear rate. This combination allows the tire to extend the usability.

The S696 keeps a clean footprint at all times. The zigzag groove placement helps prevent stone retention by ejecting rocks stuck between the tread elements.
