The Primewell Valera Touring II is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Primewell offers a 50,000 mile warranty with this model.
The tire offers exceptional all weather traction and, thanks to the silica based tire compound and tread design, it grips the road well in dry, wet and even in light winter weather. The four wide circumferential grooves increase its hydroplaning resistance by evacuating water away from the tire footprint. The tire's improved traction and hydroplaning resistance make it perfect and safe for year round driving.
The tire's handling and maneuverability are enhanced by the tread design's shoulder tread blocks. The tire stabilizes the individual tread elements while cornering and maneuvering, so it maintains constant road contact. The stability of the tread prevents tread movement during cornering, providing additional grip during such maneuvers. This stability also keeps constant contact between the tire and the road.
