OVERVIEW
The Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico PNCS is a performance all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tire offers great all weather traction. The flexible tire compound and asymmetric tread pattern's Z-shaped tread blocks allow the model to grab onto the road surface in all wet, dry and winter conditions. The deep tread grooves prevent hydroplaning with their enhanced water dispersing ability. The better road gripping and water dispersing ability ensure all weather driving safety.
The model was manufactured with Pirelli's Noise Cancelling System, or PNCS for short, that places a sound-absorbing foam on the inside of the tread area. This ensures a quiet and comfortable driving experience, as the road and pattern noise generated while the tires are in motion are channeled through it. The sound is absorbed by the foam lining and it ensures an enjoyable drive.
The tire is capable of high speed performance and, even at those speeds, it is able to perform well and with safety. It does not lose its control at high speeds thanks to the maintained road contact provided by the continuous longitudinal block profile and the stiffness of the compact shoulder block. They work together to strengthen the tread elements and maintain road contact to ensure driving stability and precise steering controllability, even during high speed driving.
The driving safety is further enhanced by the Z-profile tread blocks that firmly grip the road in all weather to ensure a shorter braking distance and safer braking ability. The wide center rib of the tread design allows great cornering and maneuvering ability in all weather by improving the road gripping ability. The additional biting edges offer a safer cornering ability and power.
The Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico PNCS offers a long-lasting tread life. The tread pattern maintains constant road contact in all weather, which evenly distributes the driving pressure across the tread area. By doing so, the tire prevents irregular wear patterns from forming across the tread area, which extends the tread life and usability.
