OVERVIEW
The Petlas Snow Master W601 is a touring, winter tire made for passenger cars.
The model comes with a tread that is optimized for winter weather traction. Its tread blocks form a directional pattern that, combined with the winter compound, offers outstanding grip on ice- and snow-covered roads. The whole tread is densely populated with lateral sipes that improve traction by generating an abundance of biting edges. The rubber blend adapts to the freezing cold temperature by maintaining its flexibility. The model also features circumferential and lateral grooves that eliminate water, slush, and snow from the footprint. They prevent hydroplaning and keep the traction consistent throughout the drive.
The detailed tread enhances the tire's handling as well. The center and shoulder blocks are arranged to maximize surface contact, increasing the vehicle's steering responsiveness and driving stability. The driver is able to control the car while relying on faster responses to steering instructions. Meanwhile, the tire's structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it. The dense siping pattern plays a huge role when it comes to the tire's braking ability. It shortens the braking distance, improving the overall driving safety for the driver.
This tire is designed with road noise and driving comfort in mind. Its computer-designed tread lowers the rolling resistance throughout the drive. It also minimizes tread pattern noise while the tires are in motion. As a result, the noise level is significantly reduced in the vehicle's cabin. This enables the passengers to enjoy a quiet driving experience while being able to focus on the road ahead. With no distractions in the cabin, the Snow Master W601 boosts driving enjoyment by providing a quiet performance.
