OVERVIEW
The Patriot M/T is a mud terrain all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks.
The model ensures excellent mud terrain performance. The rugged tread pattern with the hook-shaped tread blocks, wide grooves and open shoulder design improves the soft and loose terrain traction. The sidewall pattern enables the tire to find traction in mud and loose dirt, which guarantees its performance on off-road surfaces. The wide grooves, open shoulders and stone ejector rib, located in the grooves, maintain a clean footprint by eliminating mud and snow and ejecting rocks stuck between the tread elements. In this manner, the tire keeps its surface contact constantly and actively resists stone retention, which can harm its casing.
The rugged tread pattern and special all season compound boost the model's all weather traction. The compound keeps its traction even in colder winter temperatures, while the tread blocks manage to find firm grip in dry, wet and winter weather. The wide grooves resist hydroplaning during on-road performance by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The enhanced all weather traction and hydroplaning resistance promote a secure year round driving experience.
The tire is manufactured with a stronger tire compound. This compound resists off-road damage from harming the tire. It prevents chipping, cracking and cuts from shortening the tire's usability and enables the tire to safely perform on rough off-road surfaces. The compound also manages to lengthen the tread life. It slows the tread wear rate down significantly, which, along with the evenly distributed driving pressure, avoids the formation of irregular tread wear. As a result, the tire's usability and tread life are lengthened.
The M/T has superb controllability. The tread design's center tread block placement keeps the tire's surface contact at all times, which improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The tire's structure is stabilized against the driving pressure, while the steering becomes quicker and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver's commands. The better controllability enables the driver to confidently control the vehicle in all conditions and on all off-road surfaces.
The intended purpose of Mud Terrain tire types is off-road use. They are not designed for regular highway driving.
