FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Soft traction
- Turf friendly performance
- Longer tread life
OVERVIEW
The OTR Litefoot is an all season tire manufactured for lawn mowers and garden tractors.
The model offers great soft traction. The S-shaped tread block pattern, which extends over the tire's shoulders, optimizes the terrain gripping ability. In this manner, the tire greatly improves the sandy terrain traction and enables the tire's turf friendly performance. The soft traction allows the tire to perform on the turf terrain without damaging the turf and grass field while the tires are in motion. This makes the tire perfect for lawn mower application.
The Litefoot provides a slower even tread wear. The S-shaped tread blocks create a constant footprint which closely follows the terrain surface at all times. This evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area, actively resisting the formation of irregular tread wear. The durable compound is also wear-resistant, which slows the tread wear rate down significantly. In this manner, the tire ensures a lengthened tread life and usability.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
The photo is a representation of the tire's possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.

This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
