- Improved traction
- All season performance
OVERVIEW
The OTR 250 Swift is an all season tire made for lawn mowers and garden tractors.
The model offers great turf-friendly performance. The wide footprint and the soft traction work together to make this tire great for turf surfaces. This tread design enables it to ease the driving pressure off the tire, minimizing the pressure affecting the driving surfaces. This prevents damage to the grass and turf surfaces. As the tire does not damage the grass, it makes this model an excellent choice for lawn mowers and garden tractors.
The ideal tread design, with a wide footprint, improves turf traction. They maintain close surface contact, which boosts versatile terrain traction and year-round performance. These tread elements optimize the surface contact while the tires are in motion, which enables them to easily handle soft, loose, and uneven terrains. This tread design firmly grips the turf surface and maintains forward motion at all times.
The OTR 250 Swift offers excellent controllability and stability. The ideal tread design and the close surface contact boost steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering response time becomes faster and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it. On the other hand, the rounded shoulders and their excellent grip improve cornering and maneuvering, for the driver's better control over the vehicle.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
The photo is a representation of the tire's possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.

This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
