OVERVIEW

The Otani MK1000 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vans.

The tire promotes great year round performance. The all season compound and the detailed ribbed tread design upgrade the dry, wet, and winter weather traction. The stronger compound keeps the rubber flexibility while the tires are in motion, increasing the summer and winter traction. The siping and notch placement along the footprint allows the tire to improve the grip on the road surface at all times. The circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint, avoiding hydroplaning in the process. This results in a safer performance.

The ribbed tread design greatly improves the surface contact while the tires are in motion. The ribbed pattern and the flat footprint ensure the tire's constant road contact which enhances the steering responsiveness and driving stability. This results in the tire's exceptional steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The shoulder block placement increases the cornering and maneuvering ability. This greatly boosts the driver's control over the vehicle at all times.

The MK1000 boosts the load capacity. The reinforced internal structure keeps the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
