OVERVIEW

The Otani EK2000 is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Otani offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.

The tire offers exceptional all weather traction. The mirrored asymmetric tread pattern features a detailed siping design that manages to improve the dry, wet and winter weather traction, while the all season compound keeps its flexibility in all weather conditions. The wide circumferential grooves manage to disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint which actively resists hydroplaning. The maintained road contact ensures a safer driving experience with the all weather traction and active hydroplaning resistance.

The tread pattern design features a notched center rib and detailed shoulder tread blocks. They guarantee constant contact between the tire and the road and promote an easier controllability. The center rib's road contact improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In this manner, the steering is faster and more accurate in its response to the driver's commands, while the tire's structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the tires while they are in motion. The shoulder tread blocks boost the cornering ability and power by heightening the number of biting edges that grip the road surface. The combination of these upgrades allows the tire to be confidently controlled by the driver in all conditions.
