OVERVIEW

The Onyx HO111 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for the vehicle's steer axle.

The symmetric ribbed tread design and the stronger tire compound upgrade the tread life. The flat footprint and the optimal tread design work together to evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area. This effectively combats irregular wear formations, guaranteeing even wear throughout the tire's surface. On the other hand, the stronger compound elements decrease the treadwear rate with the wear-resistant rubber materials. This results in the tire's slower and even wear, greatly extending the service life.

The all season traction is guaranteed with the tread design and the tire compound. The symmetric ribbed tread design with the siping pattern firmly grips the road surface in wet, dry and winter situations. The siping pattern promotes additional biting edges, in order to upgrade the tire's gripping ability. The stronger compound elements increase the rubber flexibility in versatile weather situations, from the heat of summer to colder winter situations. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, resulting in a safer wet weather performance.

The HO111 enhances the controllability. The symmetric ribbed tread design upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In this manner, the tire is quicker and more precise steering response to the driver's commands, optimizing the overall handling. There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
