OVERVIEW

The Nokian One is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Nokian offers an 80,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tire offers excellent all weather traction. The all season compound and the ideal tread design improve the grip on the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather conditions. The durable compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, upgrading the summer and winter weather performing safety. The detailed siping and notch placement firmly grips the road surface with extra biting edges, upgrading the grip the tire has on the road surface at all times. The tread features circumferential grooves, which prevent hydroplaning in wet conditions. They disperse water and slush from the footprint, resulting in a safer year round drive.

The model was designed with special Aramid sidewalls. Their structure allows the tire to maintain the ideal tire shape under the driving pressure, while it also strengthens the model against external damage. These sidewalls reinforce the tire against road hazard damage, by minimizing the possibility of structural damage in such instances. This ensures a secure driving experience throughout its performance.

The maintained surface contact of the ribbed tread design enhances the controllability significantly. This allows the tire to improve the steering responsiveness and the driving stability while the tires are in motion. In other words, they promote a quicker and more precise steering response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The siping placement along the stabilized shoulders firmly grip the road surface during maneuvering, optimizing the cornering capability and power. The tread's siping and notch placement manages to generate friction between the tire and the road surface at the moment of braking. This greatly shortens the braking distance and promotes a safer performance.

The Nokian One's tread design features tread wear indicators. The tread's center rib features percentages (40, 60, 80 and 100) which represent the tread life left on the tire. These numbers wear out along with the tread and visually show how much tread life the tire still has. This allows the driver to follow the treadwear rate of the tire, enabling them to change worn-out tires in time.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
