OVERVIEW
The Nitto NT850+ Premium CUV is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model has some high performance sizes as well.
The tire promotes first-rate all weather traction. The all season tire compound and special tread pattern, with the 3D siping detail, work together to increase the tire's dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tire's wide circumferential grooves and 3D siping detail effectively resist hydroplaning situations and enhance wet weather traction by actively dispersing water and slush away from the tire footprint.
The tread design features interlocking tread blocks both on the center and shoulder areas of the tire. They maintain road contact at all times and provide excellent road gripping ability. This ensures a quick and precise steering response to the driver's instructions, allowing the driver to confidently control the tire in all weather conditions. The model is also stabilized during the drive and the driving pressure does not affect it. The shoulder tread block sequence increases the number of biting edges in cornering and maneuvering situations, improving the ability and power.
The model offers reduced road noise levels during the driving experience. Nitto used the Quiet Serration Technology to manufacture this tire model, which reduced the road noise heard in the vehicle's cabin. It breaks the repetitive tire noise up with the computer generated variable pitch tread block sequence. The lower road noise levels while the tire is in motion means a quiet and comfortable drive.
The NT850+ Premium CUV is very fuel efficient. The superb low rolling resistance tire compound decreases the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. It eases the driving pressure off the tire by lowering its overall weight, which reduces the energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tire's motion. The result is an environmentally friendly model.
