OVERVIEW

The Nitto NT420V is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. This model has some high performance sizes as well.

The asymmetric tread design and the all season tire compound enhance the all weather traction. They work together to boost the dry, wet and winter weather surface grip throughout the tire's performance. The all season compound improves the rubber flexibility in various temperatures, while the asymmetric tread's optimized elements enhance the number of biting edges gripping the road surface throughout the tire's performance. The tread's wide groove pattern channels water and slush from below the footprint, keeping the tire's surface contact at all times and actively preventing hydroplaning in the process. This combination ensures the tire's excellent all weather performing capability.

The tread design improves the tire's controllability. The asymmetric tread's constant surface contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The tread's larger outer shoulder block placement upgrades the cornering capability. These blocks increase the grip on the road surface with additional biting edges, which upgrades the cornering and maneuvering ability. As a result, the tire the driver's control over the vehicle in all weather.
