The Nexen Winguard Winspike WS62 is a touring, winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The tire promotes great winter weather traction. The directional tread design's special high-density siping detail and optimal block placement work together with the winter weather compound to increase the cold temperature, ice and snow grip on the road surface. The directional pattern with the siping detail heightens the number of biting edges gripping the road surface while the tires are in motion, boosting the ice- and snow-covered road surface grip. The compound, on the other hand, keeps the rubber flexibility in colder temperatures. The tire is pinned for studs, which can enhance the ice and snow gripping ability. The tread's zigzag circumferential and angled lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint.
