They are designed and engineered by GreenBall, a US-based company from Anaheim, California. It incorporates the same materials and technologies in its manufacture that were used to build Kanati tires. The Muteki Mud Hog has the same tread design, tire compound and internal construction as the Kanati Mud Hog M/T does. The only difference between them is that Muteki tires are mainly made for the Canadian tire market.

The special rugged tread design features large staggered tread blocks and wide grooves and the tire's sidewall also sports a detailed pattern to boost the soft and loose terrain traction. As a result, the tire is capable of finding firm grip on all off-road terrain surfaces. The sidewall pattern boosts the forward traction when driving through deep mud and loose dirt, which prevents the tire from being stuck on such surfaces. The durable tire compound resists damage caused by the road terrain improving the tire's service life.

This maintains the tire's durability under the driving and possible load pressure affecting it. In this manner, the tire maintains its optimal shape and prevents deformation to increase its performing capability.
