OVERVIEW
The Mirada Sport GT2 is a performance and high performance (depending on the speed rating of the specific tire size), all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Mirada offers a 40,000 mile treadwear warranty with W speed rated sizes and a 60,000 mile tread wear warranty with the H and T speed rated models.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The special all season tire compound keeps its flexible traction even in colder temperatures, while the directional tread design increases the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The wide circumferential and smaller lateral grooves actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The enhanced hydroplaning resistance and all weather road grip upgrade the year round driving safety.
The tread design increases the model’s controllability. The continuous center rib with the arrow-head shaped grooves upgrade the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The optimized shoulder tread block placement increases the cornering and maneuvering capability. They heighten the number of biting edges that firmly grip the road surface and promote a secure performance throughout the year.
The Sport GT2 offers a longer lasting tread life. The tread design improves the tread life and the tire’s usability and the directional tread design evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively resists the formation of uneven tread wear, ensuring an extended usability.
