This model is a tubeless model which does not require an inner tube to properly function.

The heat-resistant summer compound keeps the rubber flexibility in high heat temperatures. This allows the tire to prevent heat build-up during its performance. The ribbed tread design maintains the surface contact during the drive, which improves the grip on dry and wet weather road conditions. The tire also offers slight hydroplaning resistance, but it is recommended to avoid puddles.

The tire's ultra-lightweight construction and heat-resistant compound ease the driving pressure off the tire. This greatly lowers the model's overall rolling resistance. By minimizing the rolling resistance, the driving pressure is taken off the tire, which allows it to securely perform at high speeds. As a result, the tire offers great high speed performing ability, making it suitable for racing. However, the tire is not DOT approved for highway use.
