The Michelin X Multi Z is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on all axle positions.
The tread design and all season compound increase the year round driving safety. The all season compound boosts the grip on the road surface by maintaining the rubber flexibility in various temperatures. The tread's symmetric ribbed pattern with the optimal siping detail increases the number of biting edges gripping the road in dry, wet and winter weather conditions. The circumferential groove pattern avoids irregular tread wear formations across the tread area, actively avoiding hydroplaning in the process. This allows the tire to securely perform in different weather conditions.
The model promotes excellent damage resistance. The tread design's self-cleaning ability eliminates objects stuck between the tread elements, while the groove bottom protectors prevent stone retention by preventing the rocks from drilling into the casing. The durable compound is wear-resistant which lengthens the tread life. The compound also resists the tread's chipping, cracking and tearing, which cause the model's shortened service life.
