OVERVIEW
The Michelin X Coach Z is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was designed to be used on all axle positions.
The tire offers great all season traction thanks to the symmetric ribbed tread design and the all season compound. Their combination increases the tire’s dry, wet, and winter traction. However, this year-round performance is further ensured with the Regenion Tread Sculpture, which improves the rubber footprint to ensure traction throughout the tire’s lifespan. This technology also allows the tread to develop two extra circumferential grooves that further aid water dispersing. The tread grooves resist hydroplaning on wet roads as a result.
Controllability is also enhanced. The flat footprint and the symmetric ribbed tread design work together to increase steering responsiveness and driving stability. This allows the tire to enhance its steering responses and accuracy to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. In other words, the tire is able to improve the driver’s control over the vehicle, resulting in a secure driving experience.
The Michelin X Coach Z utilizes the stable footprint and the Infini-Coil Technology to lengthen its usability. The footprint, with the symmetric ribbed tread design, ensures even pressure circulation, preventing irregular wear along the tread area. On the other hand, the Infini-Coil Technology uses a stronger steel coil wrapping that protects the casing from external damage. Punctures, cuts, and impact damage cannot shorten the tire’s service life.
