OVERVIEW
The Michelin Primacy Tour A/S ZP is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The Zero Pressure technology enables the tire to improve the performing ability. This technology allows the tire to be driven on for 50 miles up to 50 mph in case of air pressure loss. Once air pressure leaves the tire due to a puncture or some other damage, the tire ensures its limited, temporary performance. The structure prevents the vehicle from being stranded on the side of the road. Instead, the vehicle can be driven to a nearby location where the damaged tire can be fixed or changed. Run flat tires should not be mounted on the same vehicle with regular tires.
All weather traction is guaranteed with the tread design and all season compound. The stronger compound elements and the detailed tread elements enhance the dry, wet, and winter weather traction. The tread design firmly grips the road surface with extra biting edges throughout the year, while the compound keeps the rubber flexibility at all times. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint in wet conditions. The model greatly improves the year round performing ability.
High driving comfort levels are ensured as well. The stronger internal structure and the ideal tread design work together to lower the road vibrations and noise levels. The polyester casing maintains a close surface contact at all times, lowering the road vibrations reaching the vehicle's cabin. On the other hand, the tread design also reduces the road noise heard by the passengers by negating the sound waves with the pitch variation. This combination offers a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
The Primacy Tour A/S ZP upgrades the controllability. The ribbed tread design improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability as it maintains the surface contact.
