The Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 (N0) is a high performance winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The model was designed and manufactured to be used as an original equipment tire on select Porsche vehicles. The tire's tread design, compound and internal structure all work together to improve the performance of these Porsche vehicles and enable their excellent performance and high comfort levels during the drive. They make the vehicle easier to control. The tire had to pass numerous rigorous tests to be approved as an original equipment model for Porsche vehicle and to receive the N0 rating, which means that it is the first approved tire for these vehicle models.

The tire promotes great winter weather traction. The asymmetric tread design and the silica-enhanced Helio tire compound work together to improve the winter weather performance. The silica-infused compound keeps the tire's flexibility even in the colder winter conditions, while the asymmetric tread's 3D siping detail upgrades the number of biting edges firmly gripping the road surface. The circumferential groove pattern manages to prevent hydroplaning as they disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The better traction and hydroplaning resistance ensure a secure winter weather driving experience.

The Pilot Alpin PA4 (N0) is easily controlled. The asymmetric tread's constant road contact enhances the tire's steering responsiveness and driving stability, even at high speeds. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
