Michelin Energy Saver
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Shorter braking distance
- Lowered fuel consumption
- Reduced road noise
- Longer lasting tread life
OVERVIEW
The Michelin Energy Saver is a touring, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUV. It has some high performance sizes as well. Michelin offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with the H speed rated sizes of this tire model.
This model has great dry and wet weather traction. While it grips the road well in these road conditions, it is not recommended to be used in winter weather. The three wide circumferential and lateral grooves in the tread avoid dangerous hydroplaning situations. The tire provides a safe and comfortable driving experience for everyone in the vehicle.
The road noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle was reduced by the special tread pattern and tire compound. They resist vibrations and cancel out the road noise, providing a smooth and quiet ride.
The reduced rolling resistance of this model, thanks to the Green X Technology, lower's the tire's fuel and energy usage, while maintaining its long tread life, safety and performance. The tire becomes both economic and ecologically friendly, as the lower rolling resistance lessens not only the vehicle's fuel consumption but also its CO2 emissions. This reduced resistance also enables Michelin's MaxTouch Technology to evenly distribute the driving force along the tire's road contact patch. This prevents uneven wear on the tire, making its life last longer.
The Energy Saver's improved wet and dry traction shortens its braking distance. This is due to the specially designed tire compound and a tread design that adds additional biting edges to the tire for such situations.
