OVERVIEW

The Michelin Agilis CrossClimate is a highway terrain, all weather tire manufactured for commercial vans and light trucks.

The tire promotes a safer year round performance. The tread design and all weather compound improves the all weather traction. The all weather compound increases the rubber flexibility in various temperatures, while the tread elements enhance the grip on the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather. The tread's circumferential grooves help prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the footprint and maintain the wet and winter weather surface contact to upgrade the all weather driving safety.

The model also offers a longer lasting tread life. The tread design and the durable compound, along with the MaxPressure Profile, lengthens the usability. The tread detail and the MaxPressure Profile work together to ensure even pressure distribution along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoid irregular tread wear formations across the tire's surface. The durable compound slows the tread wear rate down with the wear-resistant rubber materials. This combination increases the usability and the tire's tread life.

The Agilis CrossClimate improves the load durability. The reinforced internal structure and the sidewalls curb guard increase the load handling ability. They prevent the tire's deformation under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. The ideal tire shape and the stronger construction enable the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease. In this manner, the tire boosts its load capacity. The special curb guard also protects the tire against damage, by reinforcing the shoulder and sidewall area.

All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
